About Us

Welcome to the AISL Library Learning Commons! The library is the center of learning and community connection and is a hub for inquiry, collaboration, creation, and literacy.  We also offer a range of events, including an Author-In-Residence programs, Community Open House, and informational sessions. Our collection includes

  • Both a Primary and Secondary Virtual Library, including curated resources to support units

  • 24,000 print / electronic / audio-visual resources

  • 20 + online subscription sources

  • A growing collection of eBooks

  • 15 languages in our World Language collection

Our two teacher-librarians and technology coaches collaborate with teachers to build on units of inquiry at the PYP level and units of study on the MYP and DP levels. The lessons are integrated into the curriculum in order to allow for “just in time” learning and application of information literacy skills, which include digital citizenship, source evaluation, fair use, and more.
